A native of Annapolis, Maryland, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from James Madison Univesity in Virginia with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and a minor in Family Issues. I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from The Florida State University.
With over 16 years of counseling experience, I have developed strong clinical skills in a variety of mental health settings. While experience is essential in providing quality services, so is personality.
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, down to earth and compassionate. I have a great sense of humor and an open mind which allows me to quickly connect with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment. I also have a gift in working with children.
A Qualified Supervisor, I enjoy providing clinical supervision to Masters level therapists seeking licensure. In the past I have been an affiliate clinician with Psychological Services of St. Augustine and am a founding member and Secretary/Treasurer for the First Coast Chapter of the Florida Association for Play Therapy.
A mother of two, I enjoy reading, spending the day at the beach, listening to music and spending time with my family.
