About Me
Megan Logan, MSW, LCSW
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from James Madison University in Virginia with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and a Minor in Family Issues. I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from The Florida State University.
With 20 years of counseling experience, I have developed strong clinical skills in a variety of mental health settings. I have specialized training and experience working with mood disorders, grief/loss, eating disorders, sexual abuse, personality disorders, trauma and children/adolescents. I use a variety of clinical frameworks, including Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Play Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am continually learning new techniques and interventions to provide the most effective and efficient therapy possible. While experience is essential in providing quality services, so is connection. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, down to earth and compassionate. I have a great sense of humor and an open mind which allows me to quickly connect with others and create a safe therapeutic environment. I also have a gift in working with children and teenagers. As a parent, I know the challenges that come with raising children. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you. Together we will identify the problems in your life and find the right solutions. |
